UI/UX Designer UX-UI Designers are generally responsible for collecting, researching, investigating and evaluating user requirements. Their responsibility is to deliver an outstanding user experience providing an exceptional and intuitive application design. Duties and Responsibilities Plan and implement new designs Optimize existing user interface designs Test for intuitive and experience Communicate with clients to understand their business goals and objectives Develop technical and business requirements and always strive to deliver intuitive and user-centered solutions Combine creativity with an awareness of the design elements Create prototypes for new product ideas Test new ideas before implementing Conduct an ongoing user research Web Designer A web designer creates the look, layout, and features of a website. The job involves understanding both graphic design and computer programming. Once a website is created, a designer helps with maintenance and additions to the website. They work with development teams or managers for keeping the site up-to-date and prioritizing needs, among other tasks. Duties A web designer's job duties cover all aspects of creating a website. Upon meeting with clients and assessing their needs, web designers help create and maintain the product. Their duties include, but aren't limited to, the following: Writing and editing content Designing webpage layout Determining technical requirements Updating websites Creating backup files Solving code problems Responsibilities Conceptualizing creative ideas with clients. Testing and improving the design of the website. Establishing design guidelines, standards, and best practices. Maintaining the appearance of websites by enforcing content standards. Designing visual imagery for websites and ensuring that they are in line with branding for clients. Working with different content management systems. Communicating design ideas using user flows, process flows, sitemaps and wireframes. Incorporating functionalities and features into websites. Designing sample pages including colours and fonts. Preparing design plans and presenting the website structure.
