Job Description: BACKEND DEVELOPER We are looking for a backend developer to produce scalable software solutions. You’ll be part of a cross-functional team that’s responsible for the full software development life cycle, from conception to deployment. As a backend developer, you should be comfortable with back-end coding languages, development frameworks, and third-party libraries. You should also be a team player with a knack for visual design and utility. If you’re also familiar with Agile methodologies, we’d like to meet you. Required Skills: ● Web API & Application development ● Hands-on with REST API standards & ORM modelling ● Knowledge in consuming and developing secure RESTful API/web-services ● Knowledge in API gateway & Serverless functions implementations. ● Knowledge in integration with UI application development using standard patterns (MVC/MVP/MVVM) ● Knowledge in integration with desktop and mobile applications (Responsive designs) ● Knowledge of multiple back-end languages (e.g., Node.js, Nest JS, Typescript) and JavaScript frameworks, Micro services, Kafka. ● Familiarity with databases (e.g., MongoDB, Redis, MySQL, Cassandra, AWS Dynamo DB, Azure Cosmos Db), web servers (e.g., Nginx/Apache/AWS/Azure containers) ● Working understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment concepts and tools such as (Gitlab CI/CD), Development tools (Git), Application Servers (nginx, Apache) ● Excellent communication and teamwork skills ● Great attention to detail ● Organizational skills ● An analytical mind ● Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or relevant field Desired Skills ● GraphQL / Apollo server integration ● Experience with communication and messaging applications ● Experience with security software and solutions ● Experience in Python / JavaScript is good to have Responsibilities ● Develop modular, reusable components for projects with industry-grade coding skills. ● Ensure Project/Solution is implemented with full OOAD & design patterns methodologies ● Design and build applications primarily for Web platform. ● Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications ● Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features ● Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs ● Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization ABOUT: Securra is a virtual ‘Connect and Care’ platform with a clear focus on empowering health practitioners with world’s latest technology and healthcare innovations.
