Responsibilities: • Development of Power BI datasets, dataflows, dashboards, and reports • This would include interacting with SMEs to gather knowledge on complex data models for web analytics (click stream data) and operations data residing in Hive environment • Develop structured dashboards and business solutions on top of the barebone Power BI development based on enhancement request from business. • Create insights for product, customer, orders, and other metric related ad-hoc requests. • Work on project specific Power BI development considering the key result areas and flag data gaps / roadblock • Work with users and IT to understand requirements, propose solution and take it through to implementation, and ensure scalability of existing solution • Maintenance of existing Power BI environment • Work on combining various existing reports and dashboards for business continuity • Enhance logic or create calculated metrics based on existing data / data sources • Test activities on new enhancements and development in the backend systems • Support end users and support team with data quality checks, issue tracking and resolution • Develop and deliver end user training • Coordinate issue resolution with IT Technical skillset: • Experienced in development of large and complex Power BI datasets and reports • Expertise in DAX queries, MDX, Power Query, and Power Automate • Knowledge of advanced SQL queries and database / data warehouse concepts • Knowledge of Microsoft BI environment – SSAS, SQL server • Knowledge of Hive, Vertica would be a plus • Knowledge of Qlik sense, Business Objects and similar reporting tools would be a plus in order to standardize the reporting layer for eCommerce
