Job Overview:
As a Field Sales Officer at SM Marains, you will be responsible for promoting and selling our marine
engineering products, including gearboxes, propulsion engines, and marine engines, to customers across
India's coastal states. You will play a crucial role in expanding our market presence and maintaining strong
relationships with existing clients in the marine fishing industry.
Responsibilities and Roles:
- Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in assigned territories
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers
- Provide excellent customer service and address client inquiries and concerns
- Conduct regular follow-ups with customers to ensure satisfaction and identify additional sales
opportunities
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs in the marine fishing industry
- Provide feedback to the management on market conditions and customer preferences
- Provide technical advice and support to customers when needed
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and market intelligence
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, including forecasts and pipeline updates
- Document customer feedback and product performance information
- Work closely with the technical and support teams to ensure customer needs are met
