Job Description

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES 

  • IT Product Sales and Target Achievement
  • Building a market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships in freight transportation.
  • Should be able to strategically plan, organize and negotiation skills with customers.
  • Handling requests of customers reaching us through website, inbound calls or through sales efforts and ensuring seamless coordination with back office to address and resolve their queries within agreed timelines.
  • Work closely with existing customers and generate new leads.
  • Maintain client wise database with all the key contact person, decision makers and key operational staff.
  • Prepare Market intelligence reports including updated volumes, potential customers, carriers & competition, providing good quality inputs as and when requested.
  • Increase the customer base of the company aligned to the sales targets.

Technical / Functional Skills

  • Subject matter expertise and conceptual knowledge on products and sales.
  • Should have analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Should have excellent presentation skills
  • Ability to plan and drive time bound sales involving large accounts

Behavioral Skills

  • Should possess negotiation skills
  • Should be a good team player in a cross functional set up
  • Ability to network and being able to generate market data through formal and informal sources
