PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- IT Product Sales and Target Achievement
- Building a market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships in freight transportation.
- Should be able to strategically plan, organize and negotiation skills with customers.
- Handling requests of customers reaching us through website, inbound calls or through sales efforts and ensuring seamless coordination with back office to address and resolve their queries within agreed timelines.
- Work closely with existing customers and generate new leads.
- Maintain client wise database with all the key contact person, decision makers and key operational staff.
- Prepare Market intelligence reports including updated volumes, potential customers, carriers & competition, providing good quality inputs as and when requested.
- Increase the customer base of the company aligned to the sales targets.
Technical / Functional Skills
- Subject matter expertise and conceptual knowledge on products and sales.
- Should have analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to work independently
- Should have excellent presentation skills
- Ability to plan and drive time bound sales involving large accounts
Behavioral Skills
- Should possess negotiation skills
- Should be a good team player in a cross functional set up
- Ability to network and being able to generate market data through formal and informal sources
