Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
*No Field Work; No Cold Calling
*Sells products by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects; recommending solutions.
*Maintains relationships with clients by providing support, information, and guidance; researching and recommending new opportunities; recommending profit and service improvements.
*Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information.
*Maintains quality service by establishing and enforcing organization standards.
*Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
*Business to business (B2B) sales;
*Business to customer or consumer (B2C) sales.
*listening to customer requirements and presenting appropriately to make a sale;
*Maintaining and developing relationships with existing customers in person and via telephone calls and emails;
*Responding to incoming email and phone enquiries;
*Negotiating the terms of an agreement and closing sales;
*Gathering market and customer information;
*Negotiating on price, costs, delivery and specifications with buyers and managers;
*Creating detailed proposal documents, often as part of a formal bidding process which is largely dictated by the prospective customer;
*Reviewing your own sales performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets;
*Making accurate, rapid cost calculations and providing customers with quotations;
*Attending team meetings and sharing best practice with colleagues.
