Position Summary: Customer care specialists are responsible for handling calls from new and existing customers regarding a variety of requests through voice, e-mail and chat. Using their knowledge of products or services as well as great customer service skills, these professionals address issues, provide support and offer information, as needed, to keep customers satisfied and retain business.
Roles and Responsibilities
Email Support Agent should we well versed on receiving and answering customer inquiries on behalf of the companies or businesses they work for via email. It is their responsibility to provide quality instructions or responses to be able to resolve the customer’s issue.
They need to possess the skills, communication & logical understanding to be able to handle queries from customers in a professional, clear, and concise manner.
Answers inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing information.
Determines requirements by working with customers.
Resolves problems by clarifying issues; researching and exploring answers and alternative solutions; implementing solutions; escalating unresolved problems and close looping concern authority.
Fulfils requests by clarifying desired information; completing transactions; forwarding requests.
Desired Skills and Abilities
Excellent in English Communication
Basic Telephone Etiquettes
Typing Skills minimum 35 WPM with 85% accuracy & Basic System Navigation Skills
Ability to write, read and speak English to suit business need
Decision Making, numerical ability & logical reasoning
