Contact: 8588867475/oigong.ayurveda.pvtltd@gmail.com Job Title: Accountant Location: DLF, Faridabad, Haryana Department: Finance Reports To: Senior Accountant / Finance Manager Job Type: Full-time Position Overview: We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant with 1-2 years of experience to join our finance team. In this role, you will assist with general accounting tasks, support month-end and year-end closing processes, and contribute to the accuracy and efficiency of financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work well in a team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities: Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable, journal entries, and reconciliation of accounts. Support the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and timely. Prepare and maintain financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports. Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts. Assist in the preparation of tax returns and other regulatory filings. Ensure compliance with accounting standards, policies, and procedures. Maintain and update financial records and reports, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Prepare ad-hoc reports and assist with internal and external audits. Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities. Collaborate with team members and other departments to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure financial information is accurate. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 1-2 years of experience in an accounting or finance role, preferably in a corporate or public accounting environment. Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting. Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Xero) and Microsoft Excel (advanced skills preferred). Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and work in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team. Knowledge of tax regulations and accounting standards (GAAP or IFRS) is a plus. Preferred Skills: Experience with financial reporting and analysis. Exposure to accounts payable and receivable processes. Understanding of internal controls and audit processes.
